Jarrell Miller Says Anthony Joshua Will Retire in 2024

American heavyweight fighter Jarrell Miller is committed to stopping British boxer Anthony Joshua, a native of Nigeria, before he retires in 2024.

Although there is little chance that the American boxer will face Anthony Joshua in 2024, Jarrell Miller still aspires to have the chance.

Joshua has chosen to return to the ring in Saudi Arabia on December 23. While it was first anticipated that Anthony Joshua and Deontay Wilder would square off at the end of the year, the two heavyweight champions will instead face different opponents on December 23.

In the co-main event, Joshua will face battle against former champion Joseph Parker, while Otto Wallin and Wilder will fight in the main event.

Jarrell Miller and other heavyweight fighters will be competing on the card, but the focus has been more on Wilder and Joshua’s individual fights in Saudi Arabia.

About Miller, the American boxer has been out of the ring for more than four years owing to drug test failures. On December 23, he is scheduled to make his eagerly anticipated comeback against Daniel Dubois in Saudi Arabia. Before a planned fight with Joshua in 2019, he tested positive for drugs.

If Miller defeats Dubois, he expressed his excitement for a title fight in 2024 in a TalkSport interview. He still desires to take on Joshua in the same year, though.

“Right now, I’m primarily focused on taking out Dubois,” he declared. Then, if that fight takes place, returning on February 13 for Usyk vs. Tyson Fury. Get (Mahmoud) Charr for that title, hopefully. However, I would retire “AJ” and obtain him if Charr wasn’t available.

The same day as Miller’s next fight, December 23, is Joshua’s next bout. After their fight in Saudi Arabia, neither heavyweight boxer has any commitments in the upcoming month, although negotiations between the two teams are still ongoing.
