Breaking News; Aliyah Boston was fired immediately after she was..
The Indiana Fever suffered a brutal 89-84 loss to the Washington Mystics Wednesday. During the game, Caitlin Clark and Aliyah Boston were involved in a couple of physical plays that stirred major online buzz.
Boston picked up an offensive foul after she connected an elbow with Mystics center Stefanie Dolson. The play was reviewed by three officials on the floor to review if it met the criteria for a flagrant foul.
Indiana Fever rookie guard Caitlin Clark wouldn’t be having the trailblazing season she’s having without teammate Aliyah Boston, and she praised Boston’s impact on Tuesday while speaking with reporters.
The Clark-to-Boston connection has been a big reason why the Fever currently hold a playoff spot in the WNBA rankings, and the two seem to be getting along swimmingly off the court.
Outside of the clear impact Boston has on the court for Indiana, Clark said that she is a major force for good in the Fever locker room.
“She’s such a positive light in our locker room,” Clark said, via Clutch Sports’ Matthew Byrne. “She’s been somebody that’s been really helpful throughout my rookie year, obviously having gone through it just a year zwhoago… I’m really thankful for her.”
