Louisville’s Olivia Cochran, Kiki Jefferson Named to 2023-24 All-ACC Team

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Louisville women’s basketball graduate guard Kiki Jefferson and senior forward Olivia Cochran were both named to the All-ACC Second Team, the conference announced Tuesday afternoon. Cochran was named to the Preseason All-ACC team and Jefferson was on the Newcomer Watch List prior to the season.

Jefferson has played all 31 games this season and made 29 starts in her lone season at Louisville. She leads the team with 13.0 points per game this season, tied for the team lead with 2.5 assists per game and is third in rebounding with 4.6 per game. In ACC games this season, she led the team with 13.6 points per game and 2.8 assists per game. Jefferson is one of the best free throw shooters in the country this season as she is shooting 89.6 percent from the line, which leads the ACC and ranks 13th nationally.

In ACC play, Jefferson tallied two of her 20-point games this season, including her season-high 27 points against Boston College on Jan. 25. She recorded her first double-double of the season with 10 points and 10 rebounds against Virginia.

Cochran has played and started all 31 games this season for the Cardinals. She leads the team with 6.5 rebounds, 1.4 steals and 0.5 blocks per game this season while she is one of four players to average 10 or more points per game (10.7).
