Scouting the Louisville Cardinals

Sophomore guard Tre White scored 16 points with 11 rebounds and freshman guard Kaleb Glenn, who played last year at La Lumiere, scored a career-high 17 points in Saturday’s 86-59 loss at Pittsburgh. The Cardinals allowed 49 points in the second half and trailed by as many as 27. They shot .444 percent from the field, 8.3 percent (1-of-12) from 3 and .857 percent from the foul line. Louisville finished with one bench point and was outrebounded 35-26 after outrebounding the opposition in five of the previous six games. … The Cardinals have lost two straight, three of four and nine of 11. They have won their last two league home games (Georgia Tech, Florida State). … Louisville returned three starters off last year’s team that finished 4-28, 2-18 and last place in the ACC.
