Pittsburgh – The Louisville men’s basketball team is continuing on its path to try and get back in the win column after suffering a devastating second-half collapse at Boston College. They will travel to the Steel City for a rematch at Pitt.

The Cardinals were ahead by eight points at the half against the Eagles and then their defense broke down badly. They finally lost 89-77 after allowing Boston College to shoot 60.0 percent from the field in the second half and 56.7 percent overall. They were outscored 50-30 in that half.

As for the Panthers, they have been trending in the right direction since their last meeting with Louisville back on Jan 6. While they lost their next two games after capturing an 83-70 road win over the Cardinals, Pitt heads into the rematch having won six of their last seven, including a road upset at No. 21 Virginia in their last time out.
