In advance of their crushing defeat at Virginia on Wednesday night, the men’s basketball team of Louisville added additional players to its list of injuries.
Before tipoff, U of L (5-8, 0-2 ACC) released a statement in which it stated that Kenny Payne’s team would be without two freshmen, Dennis Evans (shoulder) and Tre White (groin), due to injuries. The team was trying to end a 21-game losing streak on the road against the Cavaliers (11-3, 2-1) in Charlottesville, Virginia, where it hadn’t triumphed since 1990.
