The Dallas Cowboys must make important decisions on the contracts of a number of players, including wide receiver CeeDee Lamb, an All-Pro who led the NFL with 135 receptions in the previous year.
Cowboys star linebacker Michal Parsons claims that Jerry Jones and the team’s top priority is signing Lamb to a deal.
“I am aware that they need to finish CeeDee Lamb. That, in my opinion, should take precedence at the moment,” Parsons told the NFL Network. “I’ll be ecstatic if they’re prepared to discuss a deal and close one. I am prepared to be [with the] Cowboys forever, as you are aware. I wanted to be a part of this team. I want to win a title with this team.”
Lamb is scheduled to arrive.
Lamb had a career-high 1,749 receiving yards and 12 touchdowns during the regular season in addition to his 135 catches. It was his second season in a row with 100 or more receptions and his third season with 1,100 or more receiving yards.
Two-time All-Pro Parsons concluded the 2023 regular season with 64 total tackles, one forced fumble, and 14 sacks. In his three NFL seasons, he has already made the NFC Pro Bowl team three times and averaged at least 13 sacks each.
Dak Prescott, a quarterback and three-time Pro Bowler, is in the final year of a four-year, $160 million contract. He led the NFL in throwing touchdowns during the regular season with 36, while recording a career-high passer rating of 105.9.
“I am destined to have what is meant for me. Concerning his contractual future, Parsons stated, “I won’t be hurrying the process. “I’m gonna just enjoy the process and keep working until it’s time.”
CeeDee Lamb has made a name for himself as the leading wide receiver in the potent offense of the Dallas Cowboys. Lamb is one of the reasons why the Cowboys have been among the best in the NFL in terms of offensive performance in recent years.
Because of this and his high volume of targets, he has also emerged as one of fantasy football’s top receiving possibilities.
With the 2023 NFL season right around the corner, few wide receivers have more upside than CeeDee Lamb in fantasy football. He has increased his output every year and could take another step forward this year as he just now seems to be hitting the absolute prime of his career.
