Finding the right venue was important to Maggie and Spencer. The ceremony took place on November 12, 2022, under a clear top tent, donned with twinkle lights at Lakeshore Park – where Spencer grew up playing Little League baseball. The reception was at Cherokee Country Club down the street. Maggie wore a beautiful dress from Lilian Ruth along with custom made cowboy boots from her dad featuring her newly married initials engraved in blue. Her mother gave her a very special pearl ring to wear for the day. It was the first gift that Maggie’s dad ever gave to her mother, making it a very special and sentimental touch.
Maggie’s vision for her big day was an intimate and romantic affair with layered neutrals and touches of pink. With the help of Whitney Bowman Events, they transformed the club into an intimate, luxurious, and lush space for their 400+ friends and family in attendance. A cake table with cascading florals greeted the guests as they entered under a gorgeous floral arch surrounding the entry door. The entrance to the ballroom was adorned with stunning florals at both ends. Jackson vine draped the ceiling, and the chandeliers were full of fall blooms and greenery. Lucite tables flanked the dance floor, topped with gold rimmed place settings and menu cards tied with a bow – a nod to the bride. Guests enjoyed a gourmet dinner followed by an epic dance party with Infinite Soul at the helm. Ballpark food was served as a late night-snack, complete with the servers wearing Braves gear. Maggie and Spencer exited through a sea of confetti to end their perfect day.
