Guardiola wants the player to depart, but Man City paid €80 million for him.

Manager Jose Mourinho has asserted once more that there is not sufficient funding to acquire the players he desires during the transfer window.

Mourinho brought up Kalvin Phillips’ €80 million move from Leeds to Manchester City and Pep Guardiola’s intention to have him replaced after just one season.

“I’m not jealous, but Man City spent €80 million to acquire Kalvin Phillips, and now Pep feels it would be best if he left.”

They’ll find someone else when he leaves. Our reality is very dissimilar. We find it difficult to sign a single player,” Mourinho remarked.

Phillips, an England midfielder, is anticipated to leave the Etihad in the January transfer window, and Guardiola previously apologized for not giving him more pla

ying time.
