Transfer: West Ham plans to trade Sanusi in January

West Ham United intends to sign FC Porto defender Zaidu Sanusi in January.

TEAMtalk reports that the Hammers have selected Sanusi to take Aaron Creswell’s role as an experienced defender.

The Nigerian international and West Ham have been connected in the past.

The 26-year-old was on the verge of a summer transfer to Olympic Marseille of Ligue 1.

Sanusi has made a comeback to the field following an approximate six-week absence due to an injury.

The left-back became a regular at Porto after joining the team in 2020.
